How Musk is that? is a Chrome extension that highlights USD amounts on web pages and compares them to Elon Musk's estimated net worth.

Data we collect

We collect nothing. No personal data, no browsing history, no page content is ever recorded, transmitted, or stored outside your device.

The extension reads the text of pages you visit locally, in your browser, to detect dollar amounts. This text never leaves your device.
Elon Musk's estimated net worth is fetched once every 24 hours from the public Wikipedia API (en.wikipedia.org). No identifying information is sent in this request.
The net worth value is cached locally using chrome.storage.local. It is never shared.

The only external request made by this extension is to the Wikipedia MediaWiki API, a free public API. See Wikipedia's privacy policy for details.
